| Lets say you have
a fairly small company with possibly a few locations. You do
not have a safe and secure environment for your valuable servers.
You may also want to have some skilled technicians close by,
should something go wrong. You simply bring your servers in
to our facility and have us install them in to one of our secure
APC NetShelter enclosures. We then provide connectivity and
optional security to your servers. Your office or offices are
then setup to point to our facility for server connectivity.
You already have one or more servers running a Citrix®
farm for your sixteen branch locations. You want added redundancy
should a natural disaster destroy your corporate location
which houses your servers. Backup servers could be installed
in to our facility and configured as a failover. Lets say
all of this is in place and a tornado destroys your corporate
office. All of your remaining branches go down. Within a few
moments all of the remaining branches would be redirected
to the backup servers you had installed at our facility. Your
branches would then resume business with the exception of
the corporate office that experienced the unfortunate event.
Your office doesn't deal directly with the public. It is
merely a place for your employees to meet and conduct their
duties. In some situations it would make sense to move the
servers to our facility and close your office. That's right,
close the office. We then can configure VPN access between
your servers in our facility and each of your employees from
their home offices. This allows you to drop the monthly cost
of rent, utilities, etc for the office space you no longer
need. |
